Mixed hard plastics
Within SK Polymers B.V., we are committed to the innovative processing of hard plastics with the aim of creating high-quality, recyclable raw materials for the plastics manufacturing industry.
Our mission?
Reducing dependence on scarce fossil resources such as oil by producing new raw materials to replace conventional materials for plastic products.
The process
The process starts with the collection of mixed hard plastics from environmental centres where residents can drop off their hard plastics (not plastic packaging).
The mix of plastics is processed at our premises, with fully automated separation into various types of plastic after an initial manual clean-up.
The sorted plastics can be reused to make new materials, helping to close the chain.
Closing the chain
Demand for secondary raw materials is growing rapidly, particularly in sectors such as packaging, construction, electronics and the automotive industry. This is where SK Polymers B.V. plays a key role. The collaboration allows us to leverage the combined expertise of both companies in the field of large-scale sorting of hard plastics. By delivering these sorted materials back to industrial customers, we close the chain and contribute to a circular economy.

An innovative approach to recycling
That’s the only way we can continue to offer smarter solutions to make hard plastics recyclable. Due to the growing focus on plastics recycling to reduce environmental impact, the demand for recycled raw materials from manufacturers and plastics processors is growing significantly.

Frequently Asked Questions
We have plastic waste, can you collect it?
Sure, we can pick this up and process it. Feel free to contact us so we can tell you more about the possibilities.
What are the costs for disposing of plastic waste?
The rate for collecting and removing plastics depends on quantities, type of material and your location. Feel free to contact us for more information.
Why is it good to recycle plastic waste?
After the plastic has fulfilled its function, it remains a versatile and usable material, which can easily be made suitable for recycling and reuse. Plastic is an oil-containing material that is not biodegradable, so burning it is harmful to the environment. By sorting and processing it, we can use it as a secondary raw material that can replace a primary raw material (petroleum product), thus contributing to a circular economy in an impactful way.
Which plastic flows can you process?
We can collect and process various types of plastic such as PE foils, big bags, PE crates, PP crates. In addition, we also process mixed hard plastics which includes buckets, crates, garden chairs, PVC pipes, crates, plant pots, etc. If you want to know if we can also recycle your plastic, please contact us.
