We are pleased to announce that CellMark Recycling Division has acquired 100% of the shares in Kempenaars, a leading waste paper and plastics recycler in Southwestern Netherlands.
Kempenaars was founded in 1946 and has been a leading player in the south of the Netherlands for three generations. Today the company is located in Roosendaal, in the South of the Netherlands, and has 39 employees. Last year the company processed approximately 200,000 metric tons of wastepaper and 30,000 metric tons of plastic waste. A consistent focus on product quality and diligent investment in its operations and relationships have been guiding stars for Kempenaars throughout the years.
“Recycling facilities are an important part of our overall strategy in offering reliable and high-quality services to our suppliers and customers worldwide. Kempenaars offers a perfect fit, both culturally and operationally”, says Nick Scheepens, Managing Director of CellMark Recycling Europe.
“With CellMark, we see a new long-term owner who will ensure a continued successful development of the business and who can support in further strengthening our services to the society, our suppliers, and customers”, says Eric Kempenaars, Managing Director of Kempenaars.
Eric Kempenaars receives the CellMark pin from Nick Scheepens and becomes officially a part of the CellMark Family.
